About 502 Outdoors
Owenton wakes slowly — the courthouse square still holding its shade while the ridges above Eagle Creek take the first light of the day. 502 Outdoors works those Sweet Owen hills the way the land asks to be worked: a mowing line laid straight across a slope that never once agreed to be flat, a border trimmed clean along an old fencerow. Summer here comes in thick and green, thunderheads piling up over the Elk Lake road by afternoon, and a lawn cut in the cool of the morning keeps its shape all the way to dusk. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass, when the edge along the front walk goes crisp and the whole place reads as tended from the road. Mowing, trimming, edging and steady lawn upkeep, for gravel lanes out in the county and shaded blocks in town alike.
