About TurfBot

The newer streets off the Wendell Ford Expressway are young lawns and open sky, the sort of ground where a mowing line shows from one end of the block to the other. TurfBot cuts them with that in mind — passes laid straight and reversed on the next visit so the stripes stand up in the afternoon light, then trimming, edging, and a final sweep with the blower that leaves nothing behind. Flat river-plain ground is forgiving to work and unforgiving to a sloppy line; there is no slope to hide a wobble. Spring arrives fast and green here, and the schedule tightens right along with it. Owensboro is the whole map, and the routes only get denser as the season runs on.
