Smith’s Lawn Care

About Smith’s Lawn Care

Come May, Owensboro smells like hickory smoke for a week straight and the whole town is outdoors for it. Smith's Lawn Care spends those Saturdays doing what it does the rest of the year: cutting, trimming the fence lines and mailbox posts, edging the front walk, and clearing the driveway before the truck rolls on. Grass in this part of Kentucky hits full stride right about then — thick, dark, growing faster than a week can hold it. Getting to it on time is most of the craft; the rest is caring how a yard looks when you pull away from the curb. They keep to Owensboro and the towns close in around it.
