Nolan’s Lawn Care

About Nolan’s Lawn Care

The old shade trees along Griffith Avenue give Owensboro one of its finest October weeks and one of its longest cleanups — maple, sycamore and pin oak all letting go at once. Nolan's Lawn Care follows that fall down the block, pulling leaves off turf and out of bed lines so the grass underneath can still find light. The rest of the year runs on a steadier beat: weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and keeping the cuttings where they belong instead of on the sidewalk. Come spring those same yards return thick and green, which is the entire argument for the autumn labor. This is a town of front porches, and an open, swept lawn reads well from every one of them.
