Morse Lawn Service

About Morse Lawn Service

By late August the cicadas run the evenings around Owensboro like an engine that will not quit, and the fescue out toward Knottsville has gone tough in the heat. Morse Lawn Service works that stretch — cutting at a height that lets a lawn hold its color, trimming the fence corners and hedgerow edges a deck cannot reach, clearing the clippings back off the drive. The ground east of town rolls just enough that a straight pass is a decision rather than an accident. When fall arrives the leaves come down all at once and the work changes shape, raking and hauling until the turf is open to the light again. It is plain work, and it is the kind of plain a street notices the week it stops.
