Imperial Lawns

About Imperial Lawns

By late February the Ohio runs high and brown past English Park, and the lawns along the west end are still the color of straw. Imperial Lawns starts the year right there — clearing the litter winter piled into the corners, recutting edges gone soft, putting pre-emergent down before crabgrass gets any ideas. When the turf finally turns, weekly mowing and trimming begin and don't let up until the last leaves are down. Half of a good Owensboro summer lawn is decided in the cold months nobody photographs. Owensboro, Stanley and Sorgho are on the winter list too.
