About Cortez Landscaping & Gardening Service

April in Jessamine County starts with the redbuds going purple along the fencerows, then the dogwoods open, and then everyone remembers their flower beds. Cortez Landscaping & Gardening Service works that turn of the year in Nicholasville: beds cleaned out and re-edged, mulch laid down dark and even, shrubs shaped back, new plantings set into the thin soil over limestone. Mowing and trimming carry the rest of the year, and the beds stay tended as the plantings fill in. A garden here rewards attention — the ground is rich, the summers are long, and the difference between a bed and a thicket is a pair of hands showing up. By June the yard reads as composed, and it holds that way into fall.
