About Green Collective

Newport flattens out toward the river, and in the blocks below the hill the yards run wide and level in a way the rest of town does not. Green Collective takes those lawns in long passes, the deck holding a straight line from drive to hedge, the pattern laid where the afternoon light will catch it. The edge is cut in at the walks, the trimmer follows the foundation and the fence, and loose grass is blown back into the turf rather than left sitting on the drive. May is the month it all pays — thick lawns, defined borders, the whole yard reading as one piece. Plain work, carried all the way to the corners.
