Allen's Tree Care

About Allen's Tree Care

In the East Row the maples and lindens have shaded brick and painted porches for a very long time, and their limbs get out over the sidewalk fast in a wet Newport summer. Allen's Tree Care works those tight city lots — tree trimming that lifts a canopy back off a slate roof, pruning that opens a crown to light without stripping it, tree removal in a yard where a fence and a neighbor's garage sit eight feet apart. Nothing here comes down in one piece; it comes down in measured lengths, over a tarp, with the flowerbeds left exactly where they were. When a July storm crosses the river and lays a limb across the parking on Monmouth Street, storm damage cleanup gets the block open the same day. It is small-scale work in a dense old neighborhood, and leaving it clean is the entire point.
