Oasis

About Oasis

Late August in Bullitt County goes still and heavy, and a shaded, well-kept yard becomes the coolest room of the house. Oasis keeps Mount Washington lawns mowed, trimmed and edged through that stretch, with beds weeded and mulched so the green in front of the porch stays green. Heat pushes fescue right to its limit, and the answer is a taller cut, sharp blades and a steady week-to-week hand. Evening finds the lot clean, the walk blown off, the borders holding their line. By September the yard has come through the worst of the summer with something still in reserve.
