About Ernst Landscaping

South of Mount Washington the land folds up into the wooded knobs, and by mid-October those ridgelines turn rust and gold well ahead of the yards below them. Ernst Landscaping spends that stretch of the calendar cutting beds back into shape, trimming shrubs, laying fresh mulch and hauling leaves off before the first hard frost settles them for good. The work is mostly line and form — a bed that curves the way the house wants it to, a hedge taken level, a border that reads clean from the road. Winters in this part of Kentucky are short on snow and long on gray, which makes a tidy landscape worth more rather than less. When April turns Bullitt County green again, the bones of the place are already right.
