About Rubble Services

Storms reach Montgomery County from the west, building over the open pastures and arriving in a hurry, and the morning after is always a reckoning of limbs and scattered brush across the yards near Slate Creek. Rubble Services shows up for that part — clearing downed branches and yard debris, hauling it off, then mowing and trimming the ground back into shape once the mess is gone. Spring is the busy end of it, when a wet March and a windy April conspire, but a yard can throw a pile at you any month of the year. The satisfaction is in the before-and-after: a lawn that was a tangle at breakfast is open, cut and walkable by evening. Mount Sterling sits where the flat country starts folding into the hills, and a place that is looked after looks that way from the road.
