About Big Hill Services

Southeast of Mount Sterling the farm country runs out and the land begins climbing toward the Daniel Boone National Forest, and the yards climb right along with it. Big Hill Services is at home on that kind of ground: slopes mowed along the contour, banks trimmed by hand where a machine has no business being, the crown of the rise finished last so the whole lawn reads as one sweep. Wind comes over those ridges most afternoons and carries the smell of cut grass a long way down the hollow. Seasonal cleanups clear whatever the woods have thrown across the property line. Difficult yards, tidy results, no shortcuts on the steep side.
