About Shelton's lawn care LLC

Union County lies wide open to the sky. Out around Morganfield the land runs flat and generous toward the Ohio bottoms — corn one direction, soybeans the next, the horizon low enough that a thunderhead can be watched coming for a full hour. Shelton's lawn care LLC keeps the yards set inside all that space: mowing, trimming, edging, the clippings cleared off so the concrete reads bright against the green. A lawn out here is a small deliberate rectangle laid inside a very large amount of farmland, and it shows — the straighter the cut, the better it holds its own. On a June evening with the wheat gone gold clear to the fenceline, a fresh-mown yard squares the whole picture.
