About Casey Mansfield Lawncare

Early in spring the fog off Lake Cumberland sits down in the coves until the sun clears the ridge, and yards on that side of Monticello come up cold and wet and ready to grow. Casey Mansfield Lawncare starts the year right there — the first cut of the season, winter debris raked away, beds tidied where the frost heaved them over. Ground that leans toward water asks for careful passes and a clean finish at the border, and that's the pleasure of the job: standing back at the end and watching the stripes follow the land instead of fighting it. By the time the dogwoods break open, the grass has a color you can pick out from the road. The same care carries straight through to the last mow of fall.
