Bybee's Lawn Service

About Bybee's Lawn Service

On Saturday mornings the square in Monticello fills up slowly — courthouse shade, trucks angled at the curb, a radio going somewhere through an open window. Bybee's Lawn Service is out ahead of all that, working the side streets where the lots run narrow and the maples throw down more shade than a lawn really wants. Trimming close along a porch step, edging the walk clean, blowing the clippings off the sidewalk before anybody walks it — small things, done right, that make a whole block look tended. Summers here come in humid and green and don't let up, so the route keeps coming back around week after week. A yard rewards that kind of steadiness, quietly, all season long.
