Perfectionists Lawn

About Perfectionists Lawn

Middleburg sits up on the Casey County ridges where the fields roll away in every direction and you can hear a tractor working two farms off. In June, when the hay is down and the whole ridge smells of it, Perfectionists Lawn is out keeping the yards trim between the pastures, mowing wide lawns that run to the fence line and then coming back with the trimmer for posts, mailboxes and the stone around a foundation. Out here a lawn is the small tidy square inside a great deal of open country, so the line where mowed meets meadow has to be deliberate. Clippings come off the walk, the drive gets edged straight, and the porch view stays clear all the way to the tree line. It is quiet work in a quiet place, and it shows from the road.
