Clean Cuts Tree Service

About Clean Cuts Tree Service

Fog lifts off the Ohio first thing and pools against the Maysville floodwall, and the hillside above town comes out of it slowly, one row of rooftops at a time. Clean Cuts Tree Service works those slopes — silver maples that lean toward the old brick streets, sycamores down in the river bottom, an ash that has to leave a narrow side yard without touching a porch rail. Tree removal on a grade like this is mostly rigging and patience; tree trimming and pruning are about giving long-standing street trees room to keep going. After a spring line of storms rolls up the valley, storm damage cleanup means dragging the tops out of the alley and sweeping the brick clean behind them. By evening the light comes back off the water and the block sits quiet, tidy, unbothered.
