About Mayfield Lawn & Garden

Mid-May in Graves County is the loud part of the growing season, everything green at once, the whole county leaning toward the sun. Mayfield Lawn & Garden keeps yards through it on a schedule tight enough that the grass never gets the upper hand. Around here a lawn is judged at its edges, the strip along the driveway, the line drawn around a bed, the ring at the base of a tree where a trimmer has to be handled gently. Those get attention every visit, and the walks are cleared before the trailer moves on. By June the yards hold a shape that reads from the street, which is the modest and complete goal of the work.
