Holloway LawnCare

About Holloway LawnCare

Storms in this corner of Kentucky announce themselves early, a shelf of cloud out past the county line, an hour of rain, and then a week of grass growing like it is being paid to. Holloway LawnCare works the days that follow, when the ground finally firms up enough to hold a mower and every yard in Mayfield is asking at once. Rain-fed grass cuts thick and heavy, so the passes go slower and the clippings get scattered instead of left in windrows. Trimming, edging, walks blown clear of green: the finishing work is what separates a mowed yard from a finished one. Toward evening the light goes soft over the fields and the lawns look settled again, which is a fair thing to make out of a storm.
