About Lou's Family Lawn & Landscaping

On the older streets north of downtown Madisonville the maples throw enough shade to make grass an argument, and every yard has its own answer. Lou's Family Lawn & Landscaping works those blocks and the newer ones out past the highway — mowing week to week, trimming close to porch steps and fence corners, edging the sidewalk so the line reads honest. Autumn is the big lift, when all that shade pays itself back at once and the leaves have to go somewhere. Then the last cut, and the yards rest until March. Neighbors notice the block where the lawns are kept, and that is the whole idea.
