About Cunningham Lawn Care LLC

The rail line still runs down through Madisonville and Earlington, and a morning freight will lean on its horn about the time the first lawn of the day is halfway cut. Cunningham Lawn Care LLC works those cool hours — mowing before the air thickens, trimming close along foundations and fence rows, edging where turf tries to creep over concrete. The old coal-camp streets have deep lots and heavy shade, which makes for uneven grass and plenty of hand work. Summer out here is long and green and asks for a seven-day turn; fall hands over the leaves. The point of all of it is a place that looks tended from the road.
