Turf Tenders

About Turf Tenders

Old Louisville lawns are small and serious: deep brick-shaded rectangles behind wrought iron, magnolias dropping leaves like saucers, a green strip between the walk and the stoop that everybody passes within arm's reach of. Turf Tenders is built for that scale — mowing tight around tree wells and fence pickets, trimming where no mower will fit, hedges and shrubs shaped back off the porch rail so the front door gets its light again. Beds get a clean cut edge and a dark layer of mulch, the kind of line that makes an old limestone step look intentional. Come July, when the air near Central Park goes thick and the evenings stretch long and gold, the crew tends these blocks the way a gardener tends a room. Nothing showy. Just yards that hold their shape between visits, one address at a time.
