About Naturescape Lawn and Landscape Care

April along the Crescent Hill reservoir is all thin sun and soft ground, the best few weeks Louisville gives anyone who works with turf. Naturescape Lawn and Landscape Care uses them the way they should be used — cores pulled from compacted lawns, seed worked into the open holes, feeding timed so the green comes in even instead of blotchy. On the streets off Frankfort Avenue the yards are small and old and full of hard-packed clay, so the difference shows up fast: thicker grass by May, fewer bare shoulders along the walks. Mowing starts as soon as growth does and stays on rhythm through the humid stretch, blades kept sharp so the tips don't brown. It is patient work, and a lawn that comes back thick every spring is the whole point of it.
