Morrison's lawn care

About Morrison's lawn care

Late October turns the ballfields at Charlie Vettiner Park gold, and the wind off Ruckriegel Parkway sends all of it into the yards nearby. Morrison's lawn care spends those weeks hauling leaves out by the load, working the fence corners and the beds where they pack down hardest, keeping the turf uncovered so it holds its color into the cold. The mowing schedule shortens but does not stop, and each visit ends with the walks blown clear and the curb line swept back. Winter comes to southeastern Jefferson County in fits and starts, and a lawn put to bed properly is ready for whatever arrives. Come spring the same grass wakes up even, which is the whole reason for the autumn effort.
