About Higher Standards Lawn & Landscaping

Old Louisville keeps its yards small and formal, tucked behind wrought iron, and around St. James Court the grass gets measured in feet rather than acres. Higher Standards Lawn & Landscaping does the close work those lots demand — hand trimming between fence pickets, edges cut true against limestone walks, beds shaped to answer the Victorian brick standing behind them. Mowing, edging, hedge trimming, mulch and seasonal cleanups, all of it done at a scale where every inch is visible from the sidewalk. In these blocks a sloppy line has nowhere to hide, which is exactly why the careful line reads so well. Come the first warm Saturday, the whole neighborhood is out walking, and the yards get looked at.
