Lawn Care Cowboys

About Lawn Care Cowboys

South of Fairdale the land quits being flat and starts climbing into the knobs, where Jefferson Memorial Forest keeps the hollows cool long after the rest of the county has warmed. Lawn Care Cowboys work those slopes and shaded bottoms, mowing across the grade, trimming the banks a mower cannot hold, and cleaning up the leaf litter that drifts down out of the woods. Yards here run to odd shapes and stubborn corners, and every one of them gets finished by hand where the machine gives out. When the truck pulls off, the drive is blown clear and the lawn sits clean against the treeline. There is a plain kind of pride in taming hill ground and making it look easy.
