Handyman's Lawncare

About Handyman's Lawncare

Louisa sits in a bend of hills, and the yards climb with them: level out front, then a bank that runs up toward the treeline. Handyman's Lawncare takes those slopes in the flat light of a July afternoon, cutting the rise on the diagonal, walking a trimmer into the corners no deck will reach. Around the steps, under the porch rail, along the retaining wall, the grass gets brought down to the same height as everything else. Shrub lines get trimmed back off the windows so the light comes in again. At the end of the day the smell of cut grass hangs in the street, and the whole block reads as one even green.
