Walnut Ridge Lawn Care

About Walnut Ridge Lawn Care

Frost finds the ridges above London a good week before it ever reaches down into the hollows, and up there the black walnut hulls come down through October with a sound like something dropped on a porch roof. Walnut Ridge Lawn Care works that high ground into the tail of the year — the final cuts taken lower as growth slows, the leaves gathered and carried off, the beds and borders trimmed back clean. Fall work is unglamorous and it's the work that decides how a lawn looks in May. There's a particular pleasure in the last mow of a season, walking off a yard that's tidy and ready, knowing the cold can have it now. Come the thaw, that turf comes back thick instead of smothered.
