Spencer's Tree Service

About Spencer's Tree Service

Winter comes to Laurel County on a slow gray tilt, and by morning the ridges above London are glazed white and the pines are bent double. Spencer's Tree Service knows what ice asks of a hardwood — which cracked limb will let go by noon, which oak has been hollow since the last dry summer. Storm damage cleanup fills those weeks: driveways opened, fence lines freed, brush stacked and carried off the yard. The rest of the year runs quieter — tree removal on a wooded hillside lot, tree trimming that lifts a canopy off a roof line, pruning that gives a young maple a shape it can carry a long way. Between the old Wilderness Road and the edge of the Daniel Boone woods, the aim holds steady: a place that looks tended, and trees that come through the next storm standing.
