Brock's Landscaping

About Brock's Landscaping

By the middle of October the ridges above London turn all at once — sourwood first, then sugar maple, then the whole Cumberland Plateau skyline going copper. All that color ends up on the ground, and Brock's Landscaping is out under it with rakes and blowers, pulling leaves off the grass before they mat down and smother it. The rest of the calendar is mowing, edging and keeping beds in order, but autumn is when a yard most needs somebody. There is a particular pleasure in a lawn that goes into November open and clear, with nothing on it but light.
