About Vest Brothers Lawn Maintenance LLC

The first mow of the year in Lexington usually falls in March, when redbud breaks purple along the fencerows and the grass has already gotten ahead of itself. Vest Brothers Lawn Maintenance LLC starts there and keeps going until the last leaves are off the ground. North of town toward Elkhorn Creek the plank fences run the property lines, and the cutting has to follow them cleanly — trimmed tight to every post, edged where turf meets gravel drive. Weekly mowing, string trimming, walks and drives blown down, and a fertilization and weed-control program built to hold fescue upright through a humid Kentucky July. Aeration and overseeding once the nights cool, leaf removal after that. None of it is complicated; it is simply done, week after week, so a yard never has a bad-looking Saturday.
