About Ultimate Lawn & Landscape

October turns the maples along Alumni Drive, and then the wind takes them. Ultimate Lawn & Landscape spends those weeks on leaves — blown out of the beds, off the walks, out from under the shrubs where they mat down and smother good turf. The rest of the year is the steady part: mowing on schedule, edging, trimming, everything swept up before the crew leaves. Fall is also when the ground opens up, so aeration and overseeding go in with a feeding to carry the roots through a Kentucky winter that never quite makes up its mind. Come back to the Tates Creek side of town in April and the difference shows in the color, three shades ahead of the yard next door. That is the whole point of it.
