About Naturescape Lawn and Landscape Care

Lexington sits on limestone, and wherever the rock breaks through — the springs at McConnell, the creek ledges out at Raven Run — you can read the ground plainly. Naturescape Lawn and Landscape Care keeps that in mind on ordinary lots, mowing at heights the turf can carry through a dry spell instead of scalping it back in April. Spring means the cleanup that clears winter's litter out of the beds, then the weekly cut, the edged drive, the trimmed fence line. Summer holds that routine steady while the humidity does its work; fall turns it toward leaves and one last clearing before the ground goes quiet. Grass grown on Kentucky limestone will do right by you if you let it keep a little height.
