Joeys Lawn Care

About Joeys Lawn Care

Saturday starts early on the west side of Lexington, out toward Cardinal Valley and Meadowthorpe, where the ramps drop and the engines turn over before the heat does. Joeys Lawn Care runs a neighborhood route the way a route ought to be run — same day, same order, so nobody has to wonder whether this is the week. Grass here can put on an inch overnight after a July thunderstorm rolls up out of the west, and the answer is simply to arrive and cut it, trim the fence line, edge the drive and blow the walk clean. Fall turns the route toward leaves, spring opens it with the first cleanup of the year, and the months between stay steady enough that a yard never gets away from anybody. Ordinary work, done every week, is what keeps a whole street looking looked-after.
