About Canopy Lawn Care of Lexington

Ashland Park in November is a ceiling of maple and oak coming down all at once, and for a few weeks the lawns underneath disappear entirely. Canopy Lawn Care of Lexington makes its season out of that — blowing, raking and hauling leaves off the turf before they pack down and smother the grass through the wet months. The rest of the year is the steady rhythm of mowing, edging along the walks, and trimming close to the trunks where big roots make a mower nervous. Shade lawns want their own approach: cut a notch higher, seeded when the nights cool, never scalped. There is a particular pleasure in watching a yard reappear green from under a foot of leaves, and it happens here every single year.
