About Allen's Lawn Service LLC

Beneath downtown Lexington, Town Branch still runs in the dark, and the grass above it wakes before the traffic does. Allen's Lawn Service LLC likes that gray hour, when the deck is still cold and the first pass goes down straight and the second lays against it, so a yard reads like combed corduroy by breakfast. Edges are cut back to the sidewalk seam, the trimmer walks the meter and the mailbox post, and the concrete is swept bare so nobody tracks clippings inside. Ohio Valley summers arrive humid and heavy here, so the fescue is left tall and cut often, which is how a Lexington lawn holds its color deep into August. By the time the heat stands up over the rooftops the work is finished, and the only sign of it is a yard that looks like someone cared.
