Morgans

About Morgans

July afternoons the storm builds over the Kentucky River gorge, out where the old high bridge crosses at Tyrone, and you can watch it come for twenty minutes before it ever lands. Morgans mows, trims and edges Lawrenceburg lawns in the hours ahead of that — grass cut before the rain gets its chance to double it. Cleanup follows every stop, clippings off the drive and the walk swept back to bare concrete. Anderson County summer is generous to grass and hard on anyone chasing it, which is exactly what a schedule is for. The reward is small and repeatable: a lawn that reads tended from the road.
