Prather Landscaping & Tree Service

About Prather Landscaping & Tree Service

On the west side of the county the ground breaks toward the Dix River and Herrington Lake, and those ridgelines carry big shade trees that stood over the farmhouses long before the roads were paved. Prather Landscaping & Tree Service works at that scale — pruning and removals, limb and brush cleanup after a Kentucky ice storm — alongside the ordinary rhythm of mowing and bed care that keeps a property looking whole. February is bare enough to read the structure of a maple before the leaves hide it, and that is when the right cuts get made. Landscaping follows in spring: mulch spread, shrubs shaped, grass brought back wherever winter or equipment left the ground thin. The aim is a place that looks like the hills it sits in, only kept.
