A.J’s Lawn Care

About A.J’s Lawn Care

J-town's older streets sit under big shade trees, and a lawn there is a negotiation — thin grass in the shadow, thick grass out at the curb, roots surfacing right where the mower has to travel. The work asks for patience: cutting high enough that the shaded turf survives, trimming clean around trunks and the mailbox post, running a true edge along the sidewalk so the line holds all week. Out in the newer streets off Chenoweth Run the yards open up and go quick, and the payoff there is the striping, long even rows the whole block can see. Then autumn drops everything at once, and hauling those leaves off a green lawn is its own kind of satisfying. Between the old shade and the new grass, there is always something in Jeffersontown that wants cutting.
