About O'Hair Lawn Care, LLC

August evenings in Estill County come in long and gold, the light sliding sideways across the yards on the hill above the Ravenna rail yard, and that is when a freshly mown lawn looks its finest — every pass showing, every boundary clean. Summer here is hot and the grass grows in bursts after a storm, so the job is staying ahead of it: mowing on schedule, trimming close where the mower cannot sit level, keeping walks and drives cleared. Where the county runs up against the Daniel Boone National Forest, yards end in timber, and that line between kept and wild is worth cutting carefully. A lawn held to a steady height all season is a quiet thing, but everyone notices when it slips.
