About Fresh Cuts Landscaping LLC

In April the Kentucky River runs full past Irvine, and the bottom ground greens up well before the ridges do, so the season starts down near the water and climbs from there. First cuts are the honest ones — tall grass, a great deal of it, and a mower walked through twice to get it right. After that the year finds its rhythm: weekly passes, fencelines trimmed back, an edge along the drive that grows sharper every time it is recut. Estill County yards run from flat river lots to hillside patches above town, and both finish the same way, clippings cleared and boundaries true. Standing at the road when it's done, seeing where the lawn stops and the gravel begins, is most of the reward.
