About Upon The Rock Landscaping

There is limestone a spade's depth under half the yards in this county, and the grass above it has to be coaxed rather than forced. Upon The Rock Landscaping keeps Independence lawns on that thin, stony ground — mowing on a schedule the weather sets, trimming close along fences and foundations, edging the drives, and gathering up the mess a windy week leaves behind. September suits the work best, when the humidity finally breaks, the field edges along the ridge roads go gold, and cool nights bring the turf back to a deep green. The reward is simple and easy to see from the road: a lawn that holds its shape all the way out to the property line. Nothing about it is complicated, and all of it takes showing up.
