About J&S Lawn Care & Landscaping

Hopkinsville is the town where, one August afternoon in 2017, the moon's shadow parked directly overhead and the whole county went to dusk at midday — grass cooling, crickets starting up two minutes into a lunch hour. J&S Lawn Care & Landscaping works in the ordinary version of that light: the flat, generous glare of a Kentucky summer, and the long slant of it toward evening. Mowing and trimming keep the turf in hand; edging redraws the borders; mulch and shrub work keep the beds from blurring into the lawn. Cleanups come at the ends of the seasons, when the yard needs resetting more than it needs cutting. A well-kept place still looks good in strange light, which is a decent test for the trade.
