About From The Ground Up Landscape Design & Maintenance

April in Hopkinsville arrives with the ground still cold underneath and the air already soft on top, and that is the window when a yard can be genuinely changed instead of just maintained. From The Ground Up Landscape Design & Maintenance uses it: beds laid out and shaped, plants set where the light actually falls across the house, fresh mulch worked in around them, and then the mowing and trimming that keeps all of it legible through the growing months. The design part is only half the promise — the maintenance half is what keeps a planting from going ragged by August. Watching a bed fill in over a season, in a town where dirt has been worked for a very long time, is a quiet pleasure. Everything here starts at the soil and rises from there.
