About Poppa & Sons mowing service / licensed and insured

Saturday morning at Atkinson Park the ballfields are already loud, and half of Henderson has a mower out. That is the hour this outfit is moving too — down one street and up the next, cutting at a height the grass can hold through the heat, running the trimmer around the swing set and the shed and the light pole, edging the walk until the line is sharp enough to sight down. Summer comes in thick here and stays, and a lawn left a week too long is a lawn you fight. Keeping it on a rhythm keeps it easy for everybody. There is a plain pleasure in a street where the yards all look like Saturday got done right.
