About Ohio Valley Landscaping & Nursery

The ground down in the Ohio bottoms is river-made — dark, deep and willing to grow nearly anything you set into it. Autumn is the good season to use that: shrubs and trees going into cool soil, beds reshaped and mulched while the sycamores along the water let go of their leaves all at once. A yard gets planned the way the county plants, with room for things to fill in over a few winters instead of all in one afternoon. Between the plantings runs the ordinary steady work — mowing, edges kept honest, leaves cleared off the grass before they mat it down. Come April, the ones that went in this month will look like they were always there.
