About Young & Collins Lawncare

Grayson wakes early — traffic along US 60, students crossing the Kentucky Christian University lawns, the interstate humming north of town. Young & Collins Lawncare opens the season the first warm week of April, when the fescue comes up green and then refuses to stop. Mowing, trimming, edging, cleanup: four plain things done in order until a yard looks the way its owner had pictured it. There is pride in a line held straight across a long front lawn, and in a walk swept off before the truck pulls away. All summer they keep to a schedule, because the grass keeps to one as well.
