About Whitaker Lawn Services LLC

Out past the Dry Run bottoms, November fog holds in the low fields until the sun gets underneath it, and by then the maples along the pike have let go of most of what they were carrying. Whitaker Lawn Services works that stretch of the calendar hard — leaves off the turf, out of the beds, off the walk, before the first wet week mats them flat. Mowing and trimming run right up to frost, dropping a notch lower as the season closes out. Grass needs light and air in autumn more than at any other time, so leaf work is really lawn work wearing a different coat. Come the thaw, the yards that got cleared are the ones that green up first.
