About J&C Lawn Services

On the ridges above Taylorsville Lake Road the afternoon comes down flat and hot, with the hills of eastern Jefferson County stacked up hazy behind the fencerows. J&C Lawn Services runs the mower right through the middle of that, deck raised a notch in July so the roots keep some shade under them. Then the edging along the walk, the trimmer around the trees and the gate posts, the drive swept before the shadows get long. Heat like this can bleach a yard in a week, and cutting it right is most of what keeps it green. When the truck leaves, the border is crisp enough to catch the low sun, and that is the whole point of the day.
